Screen printing
I used a silver paint for the descriptions on the black stock, I really like the way these have turned out especailly in the small font and serif typeface they look quite sophisticated. Again this didn't work so well on the silver stock with black paint, some smudges were made.

Stock
Initially I wanted to use black on black (black foiling on black card) after I tried it out in the print room. However when I was on the hunt for some black stock I came across silver and needed to try it out.
Black
Silver
1st embossed
The silver and black together, I really like the alternating colours but I'll have to get a second opinion
These are my bottles I bought for my labels. I thought clear bottles would work best with black labels, rather than dark green or brown.
Black
Silver
Don't want to just use one colour so I'm going to try a range where they alternate and if this doesn't work then I'll just make two ranges, one silver, one black. I think they work reallt well together though and have the look of 'party' and sophisitcated. Only thing is is that the silver has a matt finish and the black doesn't, so together this might not work.

Product range
I tried out a range of ways that the word 'party' could be spaced out and arranged over the six boxes.
I would like to use a serif typeface as I believe it looks more traditional and sophisticated. I tried out the letters fitting onto all boxes by making them smaller and I also tried using larger letters which means that part of them have been cut out on some of the boxes but are hopefully still ledgible.
I think the best design is the design with all uppercase lettering, where all parts of the letters are visible and read well alongside each other.
Here I've drawn the boxes in 3D to hopefully show how they would look as a range when made up. I am including three triangular boxes to hold sandwiches and I also want to create some labels for bottles and hold these within a drink/bottle holder. Hopefully this will conclude the range.

Nets- mini mock ups
Line up and arrangement of the boxes
Very bad quality but quick mock up of the arrangement
When made little models not sure that 2nd box works , I don't know if I like the curve, it's the only curve within the range and it kind of looks like a treasure chest. Think it looks odd?
Possibly use other box I used for wrap it up, the 2nd box in that range
There will be three triangular nets within the range, here's just one for now
The 2nd last boxes are way too small in comparison to the other models, hopefully when made bigger they will look taller and more appropriate within the range of packages.
I'm also thinking of creating a drinks holder for bottles as I want to create labels for bottles.

Packaging Mini range- ideas
Ideas-
- All packages to be mini for a mini range
- Still want packages to spell out something like my wrap it up brief, when they are put together
- Could be name of brand or just spell out an associated word
- Or each package could just have an individual word on it, however I like the idea of them working together as it makes it more of a range
- I want to include some jars and bottles-labels
What Is Good? concept crit
